Green Acres Global exists to see parts of the world uniquely vulnerable to climate challenges flourish and thrive, specifically in the areas of water, agriculture, and sustainable development.
We aim to empower people to not only survive climate challenges but also engage in the regeneration of the environment around them.
Our vision for Green Acres Global KRI Branch is to see Iraq empowered to face water water scarcity and climate vulnerability with wisdom and confidence, equipped with excellent tools and relevant, practical knowledge.
We originally expanded to Iraq because of connections to this lovely population who practice vibrant hospitality combined with its climate vulnerability. The UN reports Iraq as the 5th most climate-vulnerable nation in the world. but we believe the story does not stop here. we aim to see Iraq equipped to continue to cultivate spaces of beauty and hospitality.
